A brief profile

Dr. Anam Ul Haq Ganie is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the International School of Business & Media (ISB&M), Bangalore. He holds a Ph.D. in Energy Economics from the Central University of Kashmir and an M.A. in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His academic and research interests lie in the areas of energy economics, applied econometrics, and sustainable development. Dr. Ganie has qualified the UGC-NET in Economics three times and is a recipient of the ICSSR Full-Time Doctoral Fellowship Award. Prior to joining ISB&M, he taught at the Central University of Kashmir, where he developed a deep engagement with both theoretical and empirical economic research. At ISB&M, Dr. Ganie teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Quantitative Techniques. His teaching philosophy focuses on integrating economic theory with empirical analysis, fostering critical thinking, and equipping students with strong analytical and research skills to address real-world economic challenges.
