Dr. Riya Bhattacharya is an Assistant Professor in the area of Economics and Public Policy at ISB&M Bangalore. She has pursued her Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and Post Doctorate from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. She has completed Mphil in Economics, MS.c in Economics with Econometrics as my specialization. Prior to being a doctoral student, Dr. Bhattacharya has worked in an industrial Research project at Sponsored Research Industrial Consultancy (SRIC), IIT Kharagpur funded by DST, which has succor her to foster an industrial perspective towards her academic career. Before joining ISB&M Bangalore she has worked as an Assistant professor at Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Ghaziabad in the Department of Operations and IT. She has publication and research exposure in high quality journals. She has published a paper in the Prestigious International Conference of Applied Psychology (ICAP) held at Barcelona Spain consecutively. And she is also serving as a reviewer for Elsevier Journal- SSM- Population Health. Her research interests are Higher Education, Climate change and Sustainability, Application of statistical models to real time solutions, Public Policy and Transportation research.
